Sock Production Process

Our sock production adopts full-process refined management and strict quality control, using professional technology and high-quality materials to provide high-quality, safe and comfortable products for global customers.
  • 1. Computer Design

Based on customer requirements, we carry out pattern design and computer programming to determine sock colors, patterns, and knitting structures, providing precise data for production.

  • 2. Knitting

Single-layer socks are knitted on standard single-needle machines, mainly using polyester and acrylic fancy yarns such as cozy yarn, brushed yarn, feather yarn, or soft cashmere-feel yarn. The knitted surface is smooth, and the patterns are clear.
Double-layer socks are knitted with an integrated inner and outer layer, or with a soft fleece inner lining for enhanced warmth and comfort. The fleece lining series or other floor sock series then proceeds to sewing or anti-slip gluing processes.

  • 3. Toe Linking / Sewing

Experienced workers operate linking or sewing machines to ensure smooth, secure seams, and comfortable wear.

  • 4. Optional Gluing

For cabin socks and indoor socks, anti-slip PVC or silicone dotting can be applied as required.

  • 5. Shaping

Socks are heat-set according to size to create a smooth shape and natural fit, ensuring consistent appearance and wearing comfort.

  • 6. Inspection & Packaging

Each batch undergoes appearance, size, elasticity, seam, and other necessary quality inspections. We offer various packaging options including hang tags, hooks, gift boxes, and eco-friendly bags. Each pair is matched, counted, and double-checked to ensure neat packaging, correct pairing, and compliance with required packaging methods and barcode standards.

  • 7.Needle Detection

Finished products pass through needle detection equipment to identify and remove any broken needle fragments or metal contamination, ensuring product safety and export compliance.

  • 8. Warehousing

Products are sorted and palletized according to carton marks, stacked neatly, and prepared for inspection and shipment.

Raw Material Inspection

Coarse-gauge series mainly use thicker fancy yarns such as polyester, acrylic, or nylon—ideal for home and outdoor warmth.
Fine-gauge series primarily use cotton, viscose, or Tencel—suitable for daily wear.
All yarns must pass strict inspections before entering storage.

● Yarn thickness and uniformity: Affect sock thickness and texture.

● Impurity ratio and color consistency: Ensure cleanliness and uniform shade.

● Essential tests: Include colorfastness and fiber composition verification for safety and stability.

Process Control

● A full traceability system is implemented from raw material entry to finished goods dispatch.

● Quality supervisors perform routine inspections during knitting to ensure the normally operation of the machines and process stability.

● Sampling or full inspections are carried out at each production stage, with regular training provided to operators to enhance quality awareness.

Finished Product Inspection

● Appearance: Check for loose threads, stains, pattern deviation, holes, or defects.

● Structure: Ensure seamless toe linking, no thread breakage, and no contamination.

● Physical properties: Verify size, weight, and elasticity against approved samples.

● Packaging: Must be clean, properly paired, and meet all presentation standards.

Safety & Final Inspection Before Shipment

● All products pass through automatic needle detection to prevent metal residue.

● Dyes and embroidery threads comply with safety standards, free from fluorescent brighteners and heavy metals.

● Final random carton inspections verify packaging, labels, sizes, and hang tags.

● The inspection team operates independently from production to ensure fairness and accuracy.

● Third-party test reports (e.g., SGS, Intertek) can be provided upon request.
